About The Artist

As a self taught artist, Scotty began exploring his creativity while  taking an art therapy class during a very challenging point in his life.  Sometimes you need to get lost in the darkness in order to find the  light. His creativity that was sparked during this period gave him the  ability to see the profound beauty in life while understanding the  acceptance of the dark shadow that continually accompanies it. He  believes that integrating our own shadow will help us move towards a  greater sense of self awareness and well being. Instead of denying or  suppressing the shadow, he sees the value of shining a light on it.  Scotty searches for insight into hidden truths through his spiritual  practice of mysticism in everyday life, with his art as the storyline.
